About Us.

Coffee – the aroma and taste- must be one of nature’s greatest gifts and, to find it grows so happily on the lush acres of our northern New South Wales farm, is an extra delight for our family.

Our logo incorporates the beautiful white star shaped flowers which cover the coffee trees each spring setting the crop and filling the air with perfume and bees. The beans develop inside the fruit (known as coffee cherries) and these ripen to the bright red of our packaging.

We harvest the following spring. Our plantation sits high in the Byron/Ballina hinterland providing a micro-climate which endows the coffee with some unique features without losing any of the aroma or flavour. For example;
  • the cherries ripen slowly and have a natural sweetness
  • the trees produce less caffeine than most in the world
  • the coffee is richly flavoured and mellow without the bitterness associated with some imports
The lack of natural coffee pests in our region means that we use no pesticides. This is not the case in many other coffee producing countries. Sustainable farming methods are applied and none of the trees are genetically modified.

Freshness is guaranteed as we roast to order and pack in the one-way de-gassing bags which allow the natural gases out, but no air in. Imported coffee has a much longer lead time from farm to you.

Our plantation is growing and we harvest, process and roast on site.
